In celebration of Canada’s 150 birthday, the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology is pleased to announce a new Youth Skills Development Scholarship. The goal is to foster another 150 years of innovation and excellence in Canada. The scholarship is open to girls (age 16-21) and is awarded to cover costs of professional development.
The scholarship can be used to cover costs of attending Science Fair or participating in science-related camps or courses. This $500 scholarship must be put towards the cost of professional development of equal or greater value, this includes associated costs or attendance.
The successful applicant will be required to write a summary of their experience participating in their chosen skills development program. This summary will be shared through SCWIST/ms infinity media channels. Please note that the scholarship is conditional on acceptance and participation in a skills development program or event.
